Reba Viola Jones

Mrs. Reba Viola Gamblin Jones, age 90

Of Waverly, TN passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, at Humphreys County Nursing Home. She was born September 29, 1934, in Memphis, TN to Henry and Viola Gamblin.

A lifelong member of the Assembly of God Church, Reba's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She found joy and purpose in her unwavering devotion, cultivating a warm and welcoming environment for all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Reba was a talented crocheter, dedicating much of her time to crafting doll dresses that brought delight to children and fellow crafters alike. With each stitch and every twirl of yarn, she wove not just beautiful garments but also happiness and love into the lives of those around her.

Reba had a knack for making people laugh. Her bright sense of humor made her a beloved figure among friends and family. She found particular joy in butterflies, marveling at their beauty and grace. These delicate creatures seemed to mirror her own spirit—transformative, free, and ever radiant.

Reba's absence will be profoundly felt by all who loved her, but her spirit will continue to inspire laughter and creativity in all of us. As we remember her today, let us celebrate a woman who truly embodied joy, turning the ordinary into extraordinary, and reminding us that laughter is a gift worth sharing.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time Monday, June 23rd at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Jones will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, June 23, 2025, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kim Tremble officiating.

Interment will be held at a later date in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads in Wildersville, TN.
