Virginia Sue Thompson Age: 75 was born on October 9, 1950, in Dickson, Tennessee, died peacefully passed away on May 23, 2026. Her journey through life was marked by warmth, devotion, and a spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Virginia was a woman of many passions and deep commitments. A cherished member of Compassion Church, her faith and kindness radiated in all her actions. She held a special love for trains, guns, and drawing interests that showcased her unique blend of curiosity and creativity. As a proud member of the NRA, she embraced her beliefs and interests with respect and conviction.

Yet, above all, Virginia’s greatest joy came from her beloved grandchildren. Their laughter and presence filled her heart and home with immeasurable happiness. She loved them fiercely and was a steadfast source of love and encouragement in their lives.

Virginia’s life was a testament to the beauty of dedication to her faith, her hobbies, and most importantly, to her family. Though she has left this world, the memories of her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and a life deeply and richly lived. She will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by all whose lives she touched.

Visitation: will be 10 – 1 Thursday May 28, 2026, at the Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Sue Thompson will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday May 28, 2026, from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home.

Interment: in the Edgewood Cemetery
