Nina Jones

Mrs. Nina Jones, age 58

Of Waverly, TN passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born December 2, 1965, in Waverly, TN. As a dietary cook at Humphreys County Nursing Home for 15 years, she nourished not just the bodies but also the spirits of all those she served. Her dedication to her work was unparalleled, and her kindness touched the lives of many. Nina found solace and joy as a member of the Richland Avenue Church of Christ, where her faith shone brightly through her actions and words.

Nina was a woman of many passions, but above all, she treasured spending time with her family. Whether it was cooking together in the kitchen, embarking on adventures in Gatlinburg, TN, or cheering on her favorite team, the Tennessee Titans, Nina's joy was always evident in those moments shared with her loved ones. Nina's passion for reading illuminated her path and enriched the lives of those around her. She had a remarkable ability to immerse herself in the pages of a book, finding solace, inspiration, and joy within the words penned by countless authors.

Mrs. Nina’s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 4:00pm Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Richland Avenue Church of Christ with Bro. Kenneth Flemmings officiating.
