Emblem

Jeremy John Runyon, 38, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on October 22, 2026, at his residence.

Jeremy was born December 18, 1987, at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, to Michael Thomas Runyon and Tammy Jo Bixler. He grew up with a love for sports that stayed with him throughout his life. A standout athlete in his youth, Jeremy was named to the 1st Team All State in baseball, a testament to his talent and competitive spirit. He carried that passion for the game into adulthood, cheering on his beloved Oregon Ducks and the Green Bay Packers with unwavering loyalty.

Jeremy proudly served his country as a Corpsman in the United States Navy, dedicating himself to the care and service of others. Those who knew him in uniform and out often remarked on his intelligence and depth of knowledge, qualities he carried with quiet confidence throughout his life.

At his core, Jeremy was a simple man with a big heart. He found genuine joy in helping others and never hesitated to lend a hand or an ear to those in need. His great sense of humor had a way of lighting up a room and putting people at ease, while his kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was, in every sense, a good man who touched many lives.

Jeremy will be remembered for his warmth, his wit, and the easy way he made others feel valued and cared for. His memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
