Patricia "Patsy" Anne Petty

Patricia Anne Petty, affectionately known as Patsy, age 84, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Patsy was born in La Plata, MD and raised in Dickson County, where she was a graduate of Dickson County High School. It was there, at the Frosty Jug in Dickson, that she met the love of her life, Larry Petty, beginning a partnership and devotion that would last a lifetime. She was a faithful member of Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church, where her faith remained a steady and guiding presence throughout her years.

Patsy was a patient, loving, and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who found her greatest joy in the company of her family. She cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she took great delight in sharing stories, offering guidance, and simply being present for the moments that mattered most. Her love for her family was the heart of everything she did.

Outside of her family life, Patsy enjoyed traveling and seeing new places, always eager for the adventure of the open road and the memories made along the way. She also found peace and satisfaction in cross stitch, spending many quiet hours creating beautiful works with needle and thread, a hobby that reflected her patience and gentle nature.

Patsy will be remembered for her warmth, her steadfast love, and the quiet strength she brought to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to call her friend.
