Francis “Frank” “Poncho” Marion Keele, Jr., age 83

Of: Waverly, Tennessee, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at Ascension Saint Thomas Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, Tennessee. Mr. Keele was born May 15, 1940, in Fordoche, Louisiana, to Francis Marion Keele, Sr. and Saint “Sadie” B. Donachricha Keele. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in McEwen. He was the Owner of Poncho’s Place in Waverly. He was a retired Ironworker and a member of Ironworkers Local Union 492.  Poncho was an avid rabbit hunter and fisherman. He loved classic cars, showing walking horses, and motorcycles. He had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. He loved living at the lake and his pets. Poncho was the Master BBQ’er! He especially loved and adored his precious wife and family.

Visitation: for Frank “Poncho” Keele, Jr. will be Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Friday, March 22, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., at Humphreys County Funeral Home. 

Funeral Mass: will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 175 St. Patrick Street, McEwen, Tennessee.

Interment: will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in McEwen, Tennessee.
