Charles Tennyson Bugg, Jr.

Charles T. Bugg, Jr., of Hurricane Mills, TN, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2023. Charlie as he was known by his friends, or Chuck as he was affectionately called by his family, enjoyed hunting, fishing, dogs, raising horses and mules, and attending events at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. He was a pipefitter by trade and a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #150 in Augusta, GA.

Mr. Bugg is survived by his sister, Linda Polatty (Mike); daughter, Amanda (Billy Beck); granddaughters, Maedrey Hogan and Kaylee Bugg; grandson, Brandon Bugg; and nephews, Lance Polatty, and Hunter Polatty. He was predeceased by his father, Charles T. Bugg, Sr.; mother, Nell Rodgers Bugg; sister, Sandra Bugg; and sons, Charles T. Bugg, III and Joshua Bugg.

The family would like to thank his dear friends, Linda Poole, Sherri Brown and her son, Ashby Brown, and Raymond and Mitzi Potter, for the care and support they provided to Chuck and his family during his illness. Special thanks to the Humphreys County Care and Rehab nurses, CNA’s and staff for their compassionate care of Charlie. The family will be holding a private memorial at a later date.
