Ms. Cathey Gail Pickler, age 65 Of Waverly, TN passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Three Rivers Hospital. She was born January 23, 1959, in Jackson, TN to Roy and Doris Brooks. 

Cathey was a beloved member of Open Bible Assembly in McEwen. Throughout her life, she was known for her unwavering love for children, a passion that guided her actions and brightened the lives of those around her.

A true admirer of nature's beauty, Cathey found solace in tending to flowers and plants. Her green thumb reflected her nurturing soul, bringing life and color into every space she touched. Cathey also had a profound love for a good mystery book or show. This passion provided her with endless entertainment and reflected her inquisitive and curious nature.

While Cathey's love for mysteries was evident, her proudest accomplishments stemmed from the love she had for her family. Above all else, she treasured her children and held them dear to her heart. Her unwavering dedication to their well-being and happiness was a testament to the kind-hearted and nurturing person she was.

 Ms. Pickler’s wishes were to be cremated.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until service time Friday, August 9th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. 

Memorial Services for Ms. Pickler will be conducted at 6:00pm Friday, August 9, 2024, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nathan Curtis officiating.
