Mr. Thomas Earl Patton, age 85

Of New Johnsonville, TN passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Humphreys County Nursing Home. He was born August 1, 1939, in Humphreys County, TN. Earl attended the Waverly Church of Christ since 2021 whenever he was able.

A proud veteran, Earl served honorably in the United States Navy, which instilled in him a deep sense of discipline and respect. Throughout his life, he cherished the values he learned during his service and carried them into all his endeavors.

Beyond his military service, Earl had a vibrant passion for life. He cherished moments spent watching baseball and basketball, where he found joy in both the thrill of competition and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. Another of his hobbies included listening to country music.

He also had a passion for hunting down treasures at yard sales and flea markets, where he relished the thrill of finding the next great bargain. This hobby brought him joy and offered opportunities for stories, laughter, and conversation.

Earl's legacy will continue to resonate through the lives he touched, standing as a testament to a life well-lived. He will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege to know him.

Graveside Services for Mr. Patton will be conducted at 1:00pm, Monday, April 21, 2025, at Palestine Cemetery in Holladay, TN with Bro. Steve Whitworth officiating.

Interment will follow.
