James Calvin Putty II

James “Putty” Putty II, 49, passed away on November 20, 2025. Putty was a man who found joy in the simple things; good food, good music, and good company. A loyal fan of both the Tennessee Vols and the Tennessee Titans, he rarely missed a game and always had something cooking on the stove to go with it. He had a natural talent in the kitchen and loved sharing meals with the people he cared about.

Though he enjoyed time with family and friends, Putty was also content being a homebody, relaxing with country music and the comfort of home. He had an easy-going personality, a steady presence, and a sincere belief in seeing the best in others. His strong faith shaped his outlook and the gentle, genuine way he treated everyone around him.

Putty’s kindness, warmth, and quiet strength will be remembered and cherished by those who loved him.

Visitation: will be 2 – 5 Sunday November 23, 2025, at the Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: for James Putty will be conducted at 5 pm Sunday from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Amber Walsh officiating.
