William Chester Louis

William Chester Louis, Jr. was born on January 21, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York.  He passed away on July 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy marked by steadfast devotion to his family and enduring strength of character. Throughout his eighty-five years, William cultivated a life defined by integrity, commitment, and a profound sense of responsibility, attributes that inspired all who knew him.

He is survived by Carol Louis, his beloved wife of 61 years, whose partnership was the cornerstone of William’s life. Their union stood as a source of mutual respect, unwavering support, and shared achievement. William’s presence as a devoted father will be deeply missed by his sons, Kevin Louis and Kurt Louis, and his daughter, Dana Miller. Each carries forward his values—his thoughtful guidance, wisdom, and example resonating in their daily lives.

William’s joy was amplified by his grandchildren—Logan Louis, Linsey Spatzeck-Olsen, Liam Miller, and Ben Miller. He took great pride in watching them grow, nurtured by his spirit of encouragement and dedication. William’s influence as a grandfather is reflected in their accomplishments and the cherished memories they will continue to hold close.
