Walter Charles Hanks             Age: 85

Of: Dickson, Tn.                       Died: on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Urbana, Illinois on February 16, 1938, to the late Edward Charles and Dorothy Dawkins Hanks. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corps. He spent his career as a college professor at the University of Georgia. He enjoyed traveling in his RV throughout the country with his wife. He enjoyed camping in state parks, spending time with and educating 4-H children, and enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

His wishes were to be cremated. There are no services scheduled at this time.
