Trent Lee Armstrong

Trent Lee Armstrong, age 33, of Tennessee, passed away on August 17, 2025. He was born on November 30, 1991.

Trent was a good man whose heart belonged to his family. His boys, Knox and Maverick, were his world, and he took pride in being the kind of father who always showed up. He shared a deep and special bond with his fiancée, Chloe, standing by her side and lending his love and strength through every step of life together.

A die-hard University of Tennessee fan, Trent could always be found wearing orange and cheering on the Vols. He loved the outdoors, especially duck hunting, and even found peace in the simple joy of mowing his yard. Known for his love of gatherings, Trent made every excuse to host family and friends—whether it was a holiday, a cookout, or just a chance to fire up the grill. He cherished those moments of fellowship, laughter, and good food, making everyone feel welcome in his home.

Trent was dedicated to his career at Duke Energy and Piedmont Natural Gas to oversee and manage large commercial gas lines. He took great pride in the responsibility that came with his work, knowing it was vital to communities and families. His strong work ethic and determination earned him respect from those around him, and though he was a self-proclaimed workaholic, his pride came not from long hours but from knowing he did the job right.

Trent will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his devotion to his work, and the countless memories he created with those he cared about most.

Visitation: will begin on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 4 – 8 PM, and will continue on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 12:00 PM – until time of service at Spann Funeral Home with Kevin Miner officiating.

Funeral Service: will begin at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home.

Interment: will follow at Rock Church Cemetery
