Ronald Hunt

Ronald “Ron” Hunt, age 82, of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025.

Ron dedicated his life to hard work, family, and the values that come from a lifetime of commitment and character. He worked in the car business for 58 years, serving as general manager for several dealerships over the years, including the Chevrolet dealership in Dickson, where he built lifelong relationships and earned the respect of both coworkers and customers.

In addition to his professional life, Ron had a passion for animals and was especially involved with Tennessee Walking Horses. He spent many years as a proud member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Association. At home, he enjoyed raising fox terriers, a hobby that reflected his patient and caring nature.

Ron’s greatest pride was his family. He and his wife Susan shared 47 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, loyalty, and shared traditions. He was a steady presence in the lives of his children and grandchildren, always offering support, guidance, and quiet encouragement.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
