Robbie Johnson Street

Robbie Johnson Street, age 67, passed away peacefully on June 10th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family, the thing that she cherished the most.

Born on August 7, 1957, in Pulaski, TN, Robbie lived a life marked by an unwavering love for the people and places that mattered to her. She was happiest when spending time with family. Robbie loved everything from big family gatherings, to visits at home, and even quick 5-minute check-in phone calls. For her, nothing compared to a Christmas gathering around her daughter’s table or a road trip to Melbourne to see her parents. Her people were her joy. She was married to her husband, Steve, for more than 45 years, and treasured their children and grandchildren.

Education was her professional calling. Robbie earned an associate degree, followed by a bachelor’s and then a master’s degree. Each one was a testament to her determination and drive to improve herself in a way that would benefit those around her. She devoted her career to teaching, with a personal mission towards special education. Her students benefitted from her belief that every person deserves the right to be seen, supported, and valued. Outside of the classroom, Robbie delighted in simple everyday things: the feeling of breezy salt air on the beach, a jeep ride with the top down, or the quiet comfort of a book in her lap. Although she was always up for an adventure, she valued peace and relaxation.

Robbie will be forever missed by those she held dear: her children, grandchildren, and extended family, each of whom carries a piece of her in their hearts. Her life will be honored in a ceremony at Spann Funeral Home and all are welcome.

Visitation: will begin on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 4 – 8 PM and will continue on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM – until time of service.

Funeral Service: will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home.

Interment: will be held at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
