Mrs. Paula Marguerite Matney Gordon, age: 73 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her home. She was born March 30, 1948 in Richlands, VA. Mrs. Gordon was a member of the Waverly Church of Christ. She was a former member of Wildwood Valley Church of Christ where she served as a Sunday school teacher and taught Vacation Bible School for 20 years. Mrs. Gordon had a love for children and worked for the Humphreys County School System for over 30 years as a Teacher’s Aid. The family would like to extend special thanks to Caris Hospice for their compassion and excellent care they gave to Mrs. Gordon; it is greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held from 11:00am – 8:00pm Thursday, April 29th and from 10:00am until service time Friday, April 30th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mrs. Gordon will be conducted at 11:00am Friday, April 30, 2021 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeremy McFarlin officiating.
