Myrna Delilah Henry

Myrna Delilah Henry, age 85, of Burns, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at NHC Healthcare in Dickson, Tennessee.

Born on September 7, 1940, Myrna lived a life defined by compassion, generosity, and a genuine love for others. A faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church, she carried her faith with grace throughout her life.

For 30 years, Myrna proudly served as the manager of the Dickson KFC, where she became much more than a manager to the many high school students who worked for her. She created a welcoming environment that felt like a second home, offering encouragement, guidance, and a safe place where young people felt accepted, valued, and cared for. She took a personal interest in their lives, and many looked to her as a trusted mentor and source of support during their formative years.

When she wasn't working, Myrna enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She was a devoted fan of the television series JAG and could often be found watching her favorite episodes. She also loved traveling to the beach and making trips to Gatlinburg, where she enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and time spent making memories with those she loved.

Above all, Myrna will be remembered for her kind heart, nurturing spirit, and the countless lives she touched through her generosity and unwavering care for others. Her warmth and compassion will leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many people who were blessed to know her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
