Melvin G. Yates Age: 89 Of: Dickson, TN Passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at NHC of Dickson County. Mr. Yates was born September 12, 1931 in Charlotte, TN. He was married to his late wife, Sarah Marie Yates for 70+ years. Melvin enjoyed working in his shop as a mechanic and certified welder, he also loved doing anything and everything with farming. He enjoyed drinking Coca-Cola and spending time with his grand, great and great great grandkids. Mr. Yates was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he will be greatly missed. He will remain with us forever in our hearts. Visitation: 11-1:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Spann Funeral Home. Funeral Services: will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Baggett officiating.
