Mary Lou Spann Larkins
Jan 1, 1935 – Mar 1, 2021
These past days we have celebrated the life of Mom through a million memories. Her life was full of endless love for family and friends.
Blessed 65 years with the love of her life, Billy Larkins, their love for each other reaches beyond life, it is today as it always has been, boundless.
Mom served many roles in life, Christian, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend. She carried out the roles of her life honoring the stewardship that God expected.
Mom fulfilled her calling as a Nurse at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Kentucky. Her pride in her work was humbled by those that served with her. She has shared endless names and stories of amazing people that teamed together to serve those in need.
We all knew Mom was at peace with the journey that end of life would take her, but is just doesn’t make it any easier on those left behind. Mom’s wishes were that she have a peaceful graveside service following cremation with only her family. So, we will journey together to take her to final rest in Mt. Lebanon, Tennessee, knowing her soul is with us and always will be.
Our family extends the greatest appreciation for the outpouring of love and stories that have been forthcoming. We are grateful and humbled that the lives that she touched were filled with her love.
We are forever bound by her life spent instilling the love of family and importance to pass that love on to the next generation. Our Brother has put it best, “It seems little, but all we can say is thank you and we love you Mom.”
