Mark Clifton Darnell

Mark Clifton Darnell, 59, passed away on August 23, 2025. He was born on May 11, 1966, and spent his life doing the things he loved most.

Mark was happiest outdoors, whether it was a quiet morning in the woods hunting deer or turkey, or an afternoon fishing on the water. He also had a lifelong love of cars—especially Chevy Chevelles. Over the years, he owned several, always proud to have a project in the garage and a set of keys in his hand.

Mark will be remembered for his love of good company and the stories he loved to share. Towering over 7’ tall, his heart was every bit as big as his frame. You knew he loved you If he ever teased you, it was his way of showing he cared. Mark had a gift for bringing laughter to those around him and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

He’ll be deeply missed by his family and friends, but the many good times shared with him will live on.
