Margaret Coones, 71, passed peacefully on December 27, 2025, at home.
Born on July 14, 1954, Margaret went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, an accomplishment she carried with quiet pride. She later built a successful career as a design estimator in millwork, where her talent, attention to detail, and creative eye earned the respect of many.
Margaret was exceptionally gifted with her hands. Whether at work or at home, she was always creating. She was artistic, crafty, and thoughtful. She especially loved working on her loom, making beautiful pieces that she joyfully shared with family and friends. Every project was a reflection of her patience, imagination, and love.
Above all else, Margaret was devoted to her family. She cherished time spent with her husband and children, and she poured her heart into motherhood. Through years of guidance, encouragement, and example, she helped shape her boys into the men they are today. Her commitment extended beyond the home as well; Margaret was deeply involved in the Boy Scouts, where she dedicated countless hours and ultimately received a prominent award recognizing her exceptional service and lasting impact on the organization.
Margaret’s life was defined by creativity, generosity, and devotion. Her legacy lives on in the hands she held, the young men she helped guide, and the many lives touched by her kindness.
