Marcus Lee Gilmore, Sr. Age: 95 Of: Vanleer, TN. Died: Saturday, February 20, 2021 at his home. Mr. Gilmore was born July 20, 1925 in Vanleer, TN. and was married 71 years to Bessie Nelson Gilmore. He was a World War II ArmyVeteran receiving the Purple Heart. A life time member of the VFW and a member of the Sylvia Church of Christ. Mr.Gilmore was a farmer who liked mules, rabbit and coon hunting. He loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren. Visitation: 4-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Spann Funeral Home Funeral Service: for Mr. Gilmore will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Tummins officiating.
