L.F. "Jerry" Reynolds, born on June 9, 1946, departed this world on May 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering faith. Jerry lived a life dedicated not just to his family, but to the calling he felt deeply in his heart—to minister to others and to share the light of Jesus Christ.

Throughout his 20-year career as a respiratory therapist, Jerry touched countless lives, providing compassionate care to those in need. His role in the medical field was one of service and dedication, but it was his profound faith that ultimately guided his path. After years of healing through medicine, Jerry felt called to surrender his life entirely to God's purpose. He embraced this calling with open arms, finding joy in serving his community through ministry.

Jerry's passion extended beyond traditional ministry; he found joy in the rodeo community, where he became the chaplain of the Ozark Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and also served as chaplain for the Kentucky High School Rodeo Association. In these roles, Jerry provided spiritual support and encouragement, reminding young athletes of the grace and love of Jesus.

Throughout his ministry, Jerry embodied the message of Matthew 16:13-16, ensuring those around him knew who Jesus was and encouraging them to experience His boundless love. His impact on both individual lives and community values reverberated through every interaction, embracing people from all walks of life with kindness and understanding.

As a loving husband and father, Jerry's greatest joy came from his family. He cherished the moments spent with them, weaving a rich tapestry of memories that will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege to know him.

Jerry Reynolds will be remembered not just for his commitments, but for the warmth he brought into every room and the love he spread to everyone he encountered. His legacy of faith and service will continue to inspire, and his gentle spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of sharing their lives with him.

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Matthew 16:13-16
