John Michael Weiss (Mike) passed away on August 3rd at his home in Dickson, TN. Mike was a proud retired veteran of the United States Air Force, but more importantly, he was a man who deeply loved his family and friends. He attended Jackson Chapel in Charlotte and considered the church and its members part of his extended family.
Visitation: will be on Wednesday, August 06, 2025 from 11:00 AM – until time of service at Spann Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 06, 2025 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home.
Interment: will follow at Jackson Chapel Cemetery.

Sons: John (Laura) Weiss of Dell, AR, and Robby (Robyn) Weiss of Springville, TN
Grandchildren:
Cary Ray, James, Ashley McGreevy, Robby, Sarah, and Hannah Adcock; Jessica Miller, Emily Pankey, Marianne Weiss; Bailey Daniels and Katie Binkley
Great-grandchildren: Seven beloved great-grandchildren

We will deeply miss Mike’s bad jokes, his strong and loving hugs, and the unwavering love he showed to everyone he knew. By now, he is reunited with his beloved Sandra—and she’s probably already telling him how tired he’s making her.
