James Thomas Simmons

Mr. James Thomas Simmons, age: 79 Of: New Johnsonville, TN Died: Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his home. He was born September 7, 1942 in Dresden, TN. Mr. Simmons worked 30 years for TVA until retiring as a Maintenance Machinist Foreman. After retirement, he drove for Mid-Cumberland a couple of years and served as a School Board member for 12 years. Mr. Simmons was a member of the West Nashville #612 Masonic Lodge. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Monday, May 2nd at Humphreys County Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be conducted at 1:30pm Monday, May 2nd at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Everyone is invited to attend. Funeral Services for Mr. Simmons will be conducted at 2:00pm Monday, May 2, 2022 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
