Mr. Howard Eugene Buchanan, Jr., age: 64 Of: Dickson, TN Died: Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. He was born July 19, 1957 in Dickson, TN to the late Annie Lee Hogan and Howard Buchanan, Sr. Howard Jr. attended school in Dickson County. He loved music, fishing and had a passion for cooking. Big cookouts were his favorite. Howard loved all of his children, family, and of course his grandkids; you couldn’t tell him nothing about them. He was loud and definitely the life of the party. Howard lived every day to the fullest. Howard Jr. is preceded in death by his mother, Annie Lee Hogan; father, Howard Buchanan, Sr.; brothers, Lee Thomas and Wilbert Buchanan; and sisters, Rosie L. Gentry and Frankie L. Lee. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving children, Kenda (Will) Newsome, Andre Buchanan, Jashika (Glenda) Buchanan and Kennitha (Kelvin) Grundy; grandchildren, DeJonee Buchanan, Marty Peak, Tray Buchanan, Davi Buchanan, Willie Newsome, JaAarion Buchanan, ZaBriya Grundy, DeAsia Buchanan, Keyshawn Dawson, ZaChar Grundy, Zai Grundy, GlenDaiRion Buchanan and KeNari Buchanan; great grandson; aunts, Idell Sanders, Lettie (Daniel) Springer and the Springer kids and family; beloved God sister, Sara Sanders Conyers; special friend, Debbie Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until service time Sunday, August 15th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mr. Buchanan will be conducted at 3:00pm Sunday, August 15, 2021 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Burns, Sr. officiating.
