Glenda Fay Hinde, a beloved soul known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love, left this world on April 2, 2024, at the age of 76. She filled the lives of those around her with love and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Born on August 5, 1947, Glenda led a life brimming with diverse interests and passions. She shared 55 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, cherishing every moment they spent together and treasuring the memories they created. Glenda had a talent for baking delicious treats, crafting intricate pieces, and finding joy in simple pleasures like coloring. Her handwritten cards touched the hearts of many and stood as a testament to her thoughtfulness.

A creative spirit at heart, Glenda found solace in crocheting cozy blankets and tending to her beloved flowers and vegetables in the garden. In her younger days, she embraced the great outdoors through hiking and camping adventures, immersing herself in the beauty of nature. As an Air Force wife for 13 years, she navigated the challenges of frequent relocations with grace, always making the best of every situation. Her volunteering spirit shone brightly as she dedicated her time to various activities on base, including managing the ceramic shop.

Beyond her role as an Air Force wife, Glenda was also a devoted Shriner Clown wife and a past Matron of the Eastern Star.

Her faith was an anchor in her life, finding solace and fellowship as a cherished member of Fairview Community Church. Amongst the "Seasoned Sisters" group at church, Glenda found companionship and shared moments of joy that enriched her days.

Glenda Fay Hinde will be remembered as a vibrant soul who lived life unapologetically, never shying away from speaking her truth with honesty and candor. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and unwavering strength in the face of adversity.

In the hearts of those who survive Glenda Fay Hinde are cherished memories that will endure through generations. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends as they hold onto the love and light she brought into their lives. While we mourn the loss of such a remarkable individual, we take comfort in knowing that Glenda's spirit will live on through the legacy of kindness and joy she leaves behind.
