Glenda Nolen Dawson, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026.
Born on July 22, 1944, Glenda lived a life centered around love, family, and selflessness. She cherished her late husband and found her greatest joy in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were truly the heart of her world. Her devotion to her family was evident in everything she did, always putting others before herself and making sure those she loved felt cared for and supported.
Glenda was known for her kind and giving spirit. She was a selfless woman who found happiness in doing for others, whether through a warm meal, a thoughtful gesture, or simply being there when someone needed her. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, and it’s no surprise that she was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She enjoyed quilting, often creating pieces that reflected both her creativity and the love she poured into her work. She also found joy in cooking, bringing family and friends together around the table. Glenda was outgoing and had a natural ability to connect with others, and she treasured the time she spent surrounded by those she loved most.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
