Gene E. Miller

Eugene E. Miller, born June 4, 1942, passed away peacefully at his home on September 10, 2026.

Gene loved his family deeply and took great pride in the people he loved. He was a hardworking man who spent most of his life working on automobiles and owning and operating Gene’s Body Shop in Charlotte, TN. Through his work, he developed a reputation for being dependable, skilled, and willing to help others.

Gene also devoted much of his life to serving his community. He served on the Charlotte City Council from 1985 until 2018, giving more than three decades of his time and service to the people of Charlotte. He was also a longtime member of the Lions Club, where he served for more than 25 years.

For Gene, serving others was more than a responsibility, it was something he genuinely loved. He cared about his community and the people in it, and he willingly gave his time and talents to make it a better place.

Above all, Gene will be remembered as a loving family man, a dedicated community servant, a hardworking businessman, and a friend to many. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

His wishes were to be cremated.
