Ervin UpChurch

Ervin Upchurch (Age 81) passed away peacefully Friday, October 24, 2025. He was born December 13, 1943, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. 

Ervin had a Bachelor of Science degree and taught biology for many years.  He retired from the USDA and was the owner of Innovative Marketing Company.

Claim to Fame:  Boy Scout Master for Troop 85!  He led and nurtured many boys in their pursuit in Scouting and to be well rounded young men.  "Be prepared" is their motto.

He was a very dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.  He lived life to the fullest and used most moments to teach those around him.

His thirst for knowledge knew no boundaries.  If there was a task to be done, he would complete it to perfection. He invited life in.  There wasn't a challenge or a quest he wouldn't accept with open arms and that energy was magnetic to those around him.

Ervin was very well read and a huge history buff.  His only regret in life was not traveling more.  But with all the hiking, caving, repelling, gardening, 4-wheeling, Scouting, singing and laughter...He lived a full life!
