Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Rakipi Age: 89 Of: Cumberland Furnace, TN Died: Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan while on vacation visiting family. Dottie was born April 3, 1933, in Charlotte, TN to the late Earl and Beadie Neblett Jones. Upon retirement she and her late husband Gezim “Gill” Rakipi, moved from Michigan to Dickson, Tennessee and built a house. Dottie did not stay retired for long due to her love of people and socializing. She began working at her sister’s restaurant High Point in Dickson. She continued to work at High Point until family health issues resulted in the closure of the restaurant. Visitation: will be held 2:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, May 1, 2022 and 10:00 am until time of service on Monday, May 2, 2022 Funeral Service: for Ms. Dottie Ann Rakipi will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 2, 2022, from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Craig officiating.
