Derrick Scott Godwin

Derrick Godwin, 63, of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away on July 18, 2026.

Derrick was born on May 18, 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a strong Christian man whose faith was a steady presence throughout his life. Derrick enjoyed spending his time playing video games and was a devoted fan of University of Tennessee football, cheering on the Volunteers with great enthusiasm through every season.

Derrick will be remembered fondly by his family and all who knew him, and his memory will continue to be cherished by those he leaves behind.

Visitation: will be on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Spann Funeral Home.

Memorial Service: will begin on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home.
