Debbie Marie Gafford

Debbie Marie Gafford, passed away on April 16, 2026. She was born on December 21, and will be remembered as a woman whose life was centered around love, faith, and the people she cherished most.

Debbie loved her family deeply and devoted her life to them. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in the time they spent together. She also held a special place in her heart for her beloved fur baby; who, as her family would fondly say, may have been just as spoiled and loved as anyone else.

A true people person, Debbie had a gift for connecting with others. She possessed a calming presence that brought comfort to those around her, especially during times of stress or uncertainty. Her kindness, warmth, and steady nature made her someone people naturally turned to for reassurance and support.

Debbie was also known for her sharp mind and talent with numbers. She spent many years working in tax preparation and bookkeeping, earning the trust and appreciation of countless clients. People valued not only her skill and attention to detail, but also the care she put into helping them navigate their financial matters with confidence.

She found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Debbie loved being out on the water and cherished her boat days. She also enjoyed life on the farm, taking in the beauty of nature. Gardening and flowers brought her joy as well.

Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she loved the Lord deeply. Debbie also shared a special and meaningful bond with her sister, Jeanetta, a relationship she treasured throughout her life.

Debbie Marie Gafford will be remembered for her loving heart, her gentle spirit, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the family she held so dear.

Visitation: will begin on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, and will continue on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 10:00 AM – until time of service at Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home.

Interment: will follow at Southerland Cemetery.
