David Warren Pyle

David Warren Pyle (PeePaw) age 75, died peacefully in the arms of his wife , Carol, on July 10, 2023 at their home, after a courageous battle with multiple cancers and myasthenia gravis.

David was born February 15, 1948, in Harriman, TN to Lucion & June Pyle. He is preceded in death by his parents & his brother Sammy.

He graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a BS in Industrial Technology, and then had a successful career for over 40 years with FM Global.

David and his loving wife & soul mate Carol, spent the last 30 years enjoying travel adventures , spending time with their large blended family referred to as “The Modern Brady Bunch” and being the best PeePaw and Nany to their many grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren. He also enjoyed kite flying and fly fishing.
David was a very faithful Christian, active in his local churches as a trustee, Sunday school teacher and youth group leader throughout his life.

David is survived by his wife Carol Pyle, loving furball Chloe, children- Rob Board(Lisa), Jennifer Earnest (Mark), Jeff Board (Kerri), Heather Bolin (Lowel), Michelle McKenna(Kyle),Christopher Pyle (Amanda), grandchildren- Becky, Quintin, Mara, Selina, Jake, Chase, Justin, Zoe, Preston, Matthew, Pearson, and Mason. Along with 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Having a place to go is Home. Having someone to love is Family. Having both is a Blessing.

David requested to be cremated. As David requested, his family will be spreading his ashes at a private Celebration of Life gathering.


The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the White Bluff United Methodist Church or the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation.
