Chris Lucas

Christopher “Chris” Lucas, age 76, passed away on February 26, 2026.

Chris was a strong man and a devoted family man who believed in hard work and personal responsibility.

Throughout his life he owned and operated several businesses, including gas stations, restaurants, and other ventures. His last restaurant was The Plantation in Dickson, which he owned and operated until his retirement. He especially enjoyed buying and selling land and took pride in building and managing his businesses over the years.

He was also a pilot for many years and greatly enjoyed flying. Chris had a deep knowledge of the Bible and a sincere love for the Lord, which guided the way he lived his life. He had a strong appreciation for veterans and was always supportive of those who served their country.

At home, Chris found peace in simple routines. He particularly loved mowing his yard, which was his quiet time to think and reflect.

Chris will be remembered for his strength, his faith, and his dedication to his family. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
