Charles Edwin Stirman, age: 81 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Friday, October 30, 2020 at his residence. Charles Stirman was born on May 26, 1939 in Portsmouth, VA. Described as a “radar maven,” he worked as an aerospace engineer and had master’s degrees in both electrical engineering and psychology. Mr. Stirman is survived by: his wife, Marie Kissinger Stirman of Waverly, TN; his sons, Charles “Charlie” Stirman of Winter Park, FL, Daniel Stirman (Teri) of Oviedo, FL, and Jonathan Stirman (Dana) of Oviedo, FL; his step-son, John William Fairey of Aurora, CO; his daughters, Michelle Pierson (Christopher) of Wexford, PA, Jeanette Stirman of Waverly, TN, and Lydia Rose Stirman of Waverly, TN; his step-daughter, Elizabeth Marie Fairey, Aurora, CO; his sister, Corabel “Corky” Stirman of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Charlene Stirman, Bonnie Pierson, Hannah Stirman, Jonathan Stirman, Jr., and Noah Stirman; and his step-grandsons, Freddie and Billy Parker. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Rollin and Corabel Mintz Stirman; his first wife Bonnie Stirman; his son, David (Katy) Stirman; his brother, Rollin (Kandi) Stirman; and his grandchildren, Charlie Stirman, Jr. and Shelly Ann Stirman. A memorial for family will be held at All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry, Florida on Friday, December 11, 2020. A celebration of life will be scheduled in the new year to honor the life of Mr. Stirman.
