Charles Thomas Craven

Charles Thomas Craven, affectionately known to all as Thomas, passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on September 18, 1947, in St Paul, Minnesota, Thomas made an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A proud veteran, Thomas dedicated four years of his life to active duty in the United States Navy, followed by two years in the Navy Reserve. His commitment to service exemplified his strong sense of duty and love for his country, shaping the man he became - a gentle yet unwavering spirit who embraced life with open arms and an adventurous heart.

Thomas had an insatiable passion for exploration and adventure. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether that was casting a line into the serene waters while fishing or feeling the exhilarating rush of ziplining through breathtaking landscapes. His love for cruise ships opened the door to countless adventures, where he made memories that would last a lifetime.

What truly lit up Thomas's world, however, were his grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them, fostering bonds that transcended the ordinary. His laughter echoed in their hearts, and his stories became cherished family legends, reminding them of the warmth and love that only a grandfather can provide

Thomas leaves behind a legacy of courage, kindness, and an unyielding love for family that will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed yet lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of calling him family and friend.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
