Barbara Ruth Trotter Young

Barbara Ruth Trotter Young, age 83 of Dickson, died peacefully in her sleep on June 8, 2023.  She was born May 15, 1940, in Cunningham, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 20 at Spann Funeral Home

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Young will be conducted at 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 20 in the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home

She is survived by her two sons Bob Young and Bryan M. Young, sister Judy Newberry and brother David Trotter.   She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Robert William Young, Jr., her father, William Garner Trotter, mother, Mary Eliza Bumpas Trotter, sisters Bettye Griffin and Linda Newberry, and brother Dicky Trotter. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Nashville Humane Association.
