Rebecca Sue Loggins Smith

March 23, 1937 — May 6, 2018

Date: June 8, 2018 Name: Rebecca Sue Loggins Smith Of: Lincoln, CA Known to most as Sue, known to a privileged few as Mom and known to her favorites as Nana. Always considered by her friends to be a lady of true grace. Daughter to Nick and Lizzie Mae Loggins, Wife to Hal Smith, Mother to Lisa, Leslie and Lee, and Nana to Kody, Kourtney and Konor. Growing up in Tennessee, Sue spent the 70’s in California. The 80’s in Pennsylvania, and the 90’s in Little Rock, before coming back to California after 2000 and now, finally back to Dickson. Quite the good cook, she knew the value of a well-cooked meal and a well-seasoned cast iron skillet – lessons she passed on to future generations. Having a bit of a Christian upbringing brought creative uses of the phrases “oh shoot” and “dad nabit” on top of the ever poplar “heck”. These she passed on, as well as her affinity for a nice glass of wine. While in Little Rock, Sue opened her own business “Twice Treasured” which specialized in secondhand children’s clothes. A business that continued to flourish even after she sold it. A Celebration of Life honoring Sue will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Spann Funeral Home, Dickson, TN. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Salvation Army as it was one of her favorite Charities Arrangements by Spann Funeral Home (615)446-1123
