Name: Marjorie Louise Presson Age: 95 Of: Burns, TN Died: Monday, January 29, 2018 at NHC in Dickson, TN. She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was a dedicated and caring nurse at Vanderbilt Hospital where she made many wonderful and lasting friendships. Louise was a very affectionate person and loved her children and grandchildren and was very proud of all her family. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She always had a ready smile, generous heart, and a helping hand for anyone who needed it. Louise loved to travel, particularly to the beach and the annual TN Fall Homecoming in Norris, TN. Her friendships were so cherished; she was so proud of her many friendships over the course of her life and she greatly enjoyed her many social events. Louise gifted many people with her beautiful quilts, even winning first place one year at the Dickson County Fair. She was very active and loved being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Visitation: 4 – 8 Tuesday and 11 – 2:30 Wednesday at Spann Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Mrs. Majoire Louise Presson will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Lankford officiating. Interment: Fielder Cemetery Survivors include: Daughters: Debby Denney (Harold) of Knoxville, TN. Janet Stamper (Kerry) of Burns, TN. Son: Doug Presson (Melissa) of Dickson, TN. Sister: Beth Denney of Burns, TN. Grandchildren: Zach Presson of Dickson, Clint Hopper and wife Jessica Hopper of Charlotte, Christy Fisher (John) of Knoxville, and Reed Denney of Knoxville. Brandon Stamper (Leslie), Bradley Stamper (Katie), Sean Polinski (Athena) and Dillon Polinski. Great Grandchildren: Preston and Clint Fisher, Harli Blanks, AJ, Landry, and Weslee Hopper, Aubrey and Owen Stamper. Mrs. Presson was preceded in death by: Parents: Aaron James & Gena Vineyard Peeler, 4 4 Brothers, 1 Sister, and Husband James Presson. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she adored. The family wishes to thank all of those who visited, cared for, and prayed for Louise over the last few months
