Charles Ray Spears

Mr. Charles Ray Spears age 73 of Kingston Springs went to be with his Lord Monday, April 21, 2014. Mr. Spears was a deacon at the Bellevue Baptist Church, He loved camping with his family and grandchildren. He retired after 37 years with NES and was President of NESA. He Loved sports and played on the Potter's Trotters TEam, coached and umpired for the south Cheatham Little League and worked at the Gold Club of Nashville. He retired from the Tennessee Army National Guard. Visitation: 1-8 p.m. Wed. April 23, 2014 at Bellevue Baptist Church. Funeral Services 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Bellevue Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Shelton & Bro. Leon Edwards officiating. Interment: Dickson County Memorial Gardens Survivors: Wife: Elaine DeBusk Spears of Kingston Springs, TN. Daughters: Candance Fisher (Stuart) of Kingston Springs, Tn. Andrea Hoard (Jason) of Nashville, TN. Brothers: James Edmund Spears (Ruth) of Nashville, TN. Melvin Thomas Spears (Demetria) of Hendersonville, TN. Sisters: Bessie Lorraine Gentry (Winfred) of Burns, TN. Judith Anne Kreig (Cloyd) of Clarksville, TN. Grandchildren: Megan Snider (Kevin), Andrew Fisher, Cory Hoard & Carson Hoard Preceded in death by parents; Grady & Sara Bailey Spears Daughter: Dina Rae Spears & Son: Cory Allen Spears In lieu of Flowers the family requests donations to the Bellevue Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
